SAVE THE DATE! ACE Mentor Program’s Presentation & Awards Dinner, May 12th, 2016!! The ACE Mentor Program was started in 1991 in New York City and has expanded to over 60 affiliates across the United States. The purpose of the program is to address current workforce shortages and industry demands in the construction industry. ACE Mentor Program exposes high school students to opportunities in the architectural, construction and engineering industry! It’s also a great opportunity for junior construction project managers, architects and engineers to develop their mentoring skills as they mentor these students.

High school students visit mentor firms and jobsites while learning hands on about the many different aspects of our industry. Students will actually design a project and the program culminates with their final presentation at our scholarship awards dinner. The construction industry provides great career opportunities and provides a vehicle to expand into related fields. Last year the project was a “Middle School of the Future”, which gave students the opportunity to look at designs that they can actually relate to, as recent past Middle School students. The program culminates with an award program in May where scholarships are awarded to the most qualified students. Students pursuing a degree or vocation in an approved ACE field can utilize the awarded scholarships. Your contribution is assured to support students who are interested in future careers within our industry. ACE is a 100% volunteer organization, and all contributions raised go to the students.
